The meeting began at 8pm, with most members arriving before to chat.

10 Members were in attendance in all. At least two who were not from the Ames area, and a few new faces which we were glad to see.

New Business:

A volunteer for the position of club secretary was needed. Raghu Yennamalli agreed to be the group secretary as he is also the secretary of the ISU Postdoc group.

Program:

The program was given by Scott Prader, and was well received. Scott agreed to send the slides to Matt Steven, who will post them to the web site for folks who couldn't make it to view.

We also got to see a demonstration of the em28xx driver operating on the NetBSD operating system and a mostly complete hardware setup on an old Sun 1U server with a Hauppage PCI-E card inside.

Members adjourned at about 8:50 and some went to Perkins for dinner and socializing.
